friday july 20 | parche en el parque

7pm ∙ Levitt Pavilion MacArthur Park ∙

Saludos, Angelen@s!

La Junta are excited to announce that we’ve been invited to present a show this summer at the Levitt Pavilion Los Angeles at MacArthur Park, as part of their talent-packed 2018 series of 50 free concerts!

This date we’ve been given happens to fall on Colombian Independence Day, and with our love for Afro-Latin music, we are elated over the opportunity to celebrate the rich music from this nation that sits on the Equator with beautiful coastlines on both the Pacific and Caribbean. Widely considered the birthplace of Cumbia and other life-affirming rhythms that merge African and Indigenous tradtions, Colombia boasts legendary artists such as Andres Landero, Totó la Momposina and Joe Arroyo, through the streak of current stars like Shakira, Juanes, Carlos Vives, Maluma, J Balvin and Kali Uchis. Please save the date and join us for this free show:
