6-9pm ∙ Big Bang Theory Way ∙ FREE! w/RSVP
Dia de los Muertos season is just about upon us, so La Junta crew and me are excited to share that we’re back with one of our surprise hit events of last fall, and it’s right in our Pasadena stomping grounds!
Kicking off its Day of the Dead Celebration, Old Pasadena hosts ‘Salsa on the Alley, curated by LA cultural event producers La Junta and featuring a live performance with Son Mayor, an 11-piece ensemble that has been performing its classic salsa sound for more than three decades. The event takes place outdoor in one of Old Pasadena’s historic, urban alleyways–illuminated with unique calaveras lighting.
Free sugar-skull face painting is offered between 5:30-8:30pm!
Note: While this event is free, all attendees must register through Eventbrite and show ticket (digital or paper) at the gate to receive an entrance wristband.
