march 2020 | gig schedule

Things are poppin’ up in March! My schedule begins with a double-header in Long Beach–Happy Hours from 2:30-7pm at Mezcalero Long Beach, then off to Bamboo Club LB for a 1st Sunday edition of Marina Soul Club from 8pm-12am. Also check out Snarky Puppy guitarist Mark Lettieri on Thursday the 5th at The Mayfair Hotel LA, as well as Sunday the 8th’s fundraiser in Boyle Heights for Soraya Medina to help with the financial costs of healing through breast cancer for the second time. See you at as many of these events as are meant to be…and thank you for your gracious support of what I love to do!

friday march 13 | piña

This midweek rain has got us excited for what’s gonna bloom on the other side, especially Friday night’s PIÑA! It’s been a long time coming, but we’re finally bringin’ in the homies DJ CREEPY and DJ VALENTÍN, aka Westside Cumbia Connection to rock the decks at our monthly Friday romp…and ‘we support this message’!!

Our brother Yukicito will be out of town celebrating his bday week in the Bay, but fortunately, our dear bro from Ojai, DJ Elixir, is in town to keep the sounds deep while Yuki is away. Get your piñas ready and we’ll see you on Friday!

OmeDJ of Royal Jelly DJ’s out of Fresno, CA joins degruvme, Yukicito and yours truly on the decks to bless the occasion (and the dance floor) the way only a lady can do. friday march 6 | marina soul club

This Friday March 6th is a special one as Marina Soul Club LA hosts our first ‘inter-yacht’ exchange with the ladies of Twin Harbors Long Beach. All this leads up to our 1-year anniversary at Melody Wine Bar happening in April! As always, pull in and drop your anchor for a while to dine, sip, converse and enjoy the finest in 70s soft rock, breezy jazz, lite disco, mellow 80s, island grooves and coastal soul on vinyl. It’s also Happy Hour all night long, and 15% of food sales are donated to local Lockwood Elementary. Be sure to order any of the entrees by Adia Pasta and from the selection of natural wines curated by the house.
