After taking a hiatus during the last quarter of 2019, the mighty Afro Funké event returns here in the new decade! We’re back at the Venice CA’s historic Townhouse & Del Monte Speakeasy with a residents’ night featuring KCRW DJ and Afro Funké co-founder JEREMY SOLE with yours truly, GLENN RED. Host ROCKY DAWUNI and producer/photographer CARY SULLIVAN, the other two co-founders will be back in the fold for this first gathering of 2020. PLUS…dancers and players of instruments as always!!! It goes down on Thursday, January 30th. If you’re new to the event, here’s a bit of what you’ll hear:
