Yours truly, DJ Glenn Red, will be back upstairs at General Lee’s Cocktail House in LA’s Chinatown this Saturday, July 24th, with my regularly scheduled solo residency called Rum ‘N’ Sugar!
Along with my guest deejay Mano Gil of Sonido Tropical (San Luis Obispo), we all had a blast last month dancing to everything from currulao to champeta, cumbia to band, guaguancó to reggaetón, samba to coco, afrobeats to soca, and more! Might even have a special guest coming through!
Good music, good cocktails, and good vibes all night. See you there!

The event takes place outdoor in one of Old Pasadena’s historic, urban alleyways–illuminated with unique calaveras lighting.
Free sugar-skull face painting is offered between 5:30-8:30pm!

Join LA JUNTA crew as we perform all afternoon long at the 7th Annual ¡LATIN FOOD FEST! on Saturday March 30th, with this year’s Los Angeles event taking place at LA State Historic Park near Chinatown! It’s a two-day event with the ‘Chefs Night Out’ on Friday the 29th, but we’ll see you all the next day for the Gran Tasting festivities in the LA sunshine.
Degruvme, Yukicito and yours truly will be providing all the wonderful Afro-Latin sounds that you can sip and grub to as you stroll the grounds tasting all the incredible flavors from LA’s top Latin food chefs and restaurants.
Last August’s event in San Diego was one of the most fun events that we took part in and we’re so excited to tell all of our LA friends about this one here in March. See the link below for details and save the date!
